| Me. Covered in mud. |
Let's get one thing straight and out of the way.
This blog is about me.
Sure, the name might suggest otherwise, but this is just a vehicle for me to write about what I want to write about.
There will be beer, however. Oh yes. There will be beer. With a local Spokane focus. But that doesn't mean it will only be about Spokane beer, but rather about my experiences with beer in and around Spokane. There might be some on the road posts. Or posts about beer from other places that I'm simply drinking at home while grilling or watching Project Runway.
In any case, most posts will include something related to beer and something related to my personal experiences here in or around Spokane. I might do interviews with local beer brewers, bar owners, and other quality craft beer enthusiasts, but this blog will likely just end up being my rants and diatribes paired with a delicious beer. Or two. Or three. I'll talk about food, too. Because food is awesome.
In any case, whatever this is or becomes is up to me, and hopefully it's entertaining for other people. But as long as I'm entertained, I'll keep it going.

So. Now that all the formalities and pleasantries are out of the way, let's get to the drinking.
Cheers.
Oh! The mission statement! Almost forgot. I really just put that in the title because it sounded professional. I really have no idea what it should be or even how to write one. But I'm diving right in. Here it is. Our mission statement:
Beer is good.
Let's drink some.
And enjoy life.
Eh. Not great, but not bad for my first try. Let's go with it. And hopefully I can come up with a better tag line than cheers. For that, I'm open to suggestions.
Prost?
Bottoms up?
I'd tap that?
That last one might be good for some kind of rating system. If the beer's good, "I'd tap that." Or is that too cheesy? Probably.
How about, "Tap that glass." I kind of like that for a sign off.
So. Until next time, readers, tap that glass.
Eh. I'm not convinced. It's a work in progress. We'll come around to something that sticks, and hopefully it kicks ass. But until then, tap that glass.
Now it's growing on me. Let's roll with it.
Tap that glass.
Yeah. That's awesome.

Isaac, I'm enjoying the blog a lot. Keep up the great work, and thanks for the kind words.
